Objectives:

This special session aims to provide an opportunity for international researchers to share and review recent advances in the foundations, integration architectures and applications of hybrid and adaptive systems for computer vision and robot control.

 

 

 

 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

 

·        Control: Cooperative Control; Hybrid Intelligent Control; Adaptive Control; Robust Control; Networked Control System.

·        Vision: Real-time Object Recognition; Image Processing; Feature Extraction; Pattern Recognition; Human-Computer Interaction; Tracking and Surveillance; Biometrics; Behaviour Recognition; Gesture Recognition; Applications.

·        Automation: Process Automation, Planning and Scheduling; Biomedical Instrumentation; Modelling and Simulation

·        Robotics: Humanoid and Mobile Robotics; Search and Rescue; Bio-robotics; Tele-robotics

 

Paper Submission: 

A full paper in English, with page limit of 8 A4-pages must be

formatted using the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format. 

It should provide substantial details and discussion on the original research contribution. 

Accepted papers will be published in the LNCS Springer series, and selected papers will be invited for publication in special issues of journals after the conference. http://cs.anu.edu.au/iconip2010/submit.html
