Thanks Turitea Business students!

by Alison Wallbutton Email

Many thanks to the Business students who have helped us with our online tutorial evaluation, we've found all the volunteers we need at the moment. If you would like to help us evaluate online tutorials in the future, contact us with your details. Remember you can earn yourself a $5 printing credit! *******************************************************************************************

Are you a Business student at Turitea?
Would you like a $5 printing credit?
Would you like to help us by testing an online tutorial?
Do you have a spare 30 minutes?

We are currently developing online tutorials to assist students with using library resources. We need students to view the tutorial and then complete some exercises to see if the tutorial has met its objectives. Please note this will be a test of the tutorial, not the student!

If you can help please contact us or visit us at the Level 2 information desk of the Library.

American Management Association ebooks trial

by Jane Brooker, College Liaison Email

The Library currently purchases numerous books published by the American Management Association. They have now made their titles available as e-books and the Library is trialling the e-book platform.

We would like feedback on the usability of these e-books - as opposed to the content. We will continue to purchase titles from the American Management Association - but would like to make some titles available electronically if that would be useful.

Access to the trial is available via the Library Catalogue and runs through till the end of July.
Please send feedback or queries to buslib@massey.ac.nz

'How to Find' Demos

by Massey University Library Email

Find a journal article when you have the titleNot sure how to find a book or journal article? We now have some short online demonstrations to help you on our 'How to Find' pages. They show you how to find: a journal article when you know the title (right); articles on your assignment topic; and books when you know the title or author. We'll let you know as we add further demonstrations.

These demonstrations are also available for embedding into your Stream, WebCT or other online courses, on our Teaching Support page. We have developed these, and several other online tutorials, for the College of Education and College of Business, and more are planned.
