Early English Books Online, affectionately known as EEBO, is one of the most amazing products of the digital age. Ranging from the earliest printed book in English in 1473 to the year 1700, it consists of over 125,000 titles including obscure tracts and classic works of literature, philospohy and science. Dr Sarah Ross of the School of English and Media Studies researches English politics,religion and literature in the period 1500-1700 and is a keen user of Early English Books Online.
