Reader Ratings

Rate that book! You can now rate items in the Library Catalogue, both as a reminder to yourself of how useful they are, and a recommendation (or warning) to others. Ratings range from 1 star (extremely low opinion, would not recommend) through to 5 stars (excellent, highly recommended).
To rate a book or other item, log in to MyLibrary, find the item you want to rate, then click on the number of stars you think it's worth. You can do this in either the classic Library Catalogue or Encore.
To view ratings, log in to MyLibrary to see your own ratings in yellow, or log out to see the average of everyone's ratings in blue. All white stars means the item isn't yet rated.
Folders, Carts & Lists in MyLibrary
When you're searching for books, you can save records as you go by adding them to the Folder (classic Library Catalogue) or the Cart (Encore). You can then email, print, request or export the Folder/Cart items (also see My Cart, EndNote & Requesting). However, the Folder/Cart will be retained for the current session only. If you want to remember these records for later, you'll need to take the extra step of saving to My Lists.
My Cart, EndNote & Requesting
Are you stuck on exporting to EndNote or making multiple requests from the new 'My Cart' feature in Encore? Yes, there is a way to do it...
Library Forms Requiring Login
Some of the Library web site forms now require a login. The Interlibrary Loan forms for both books and journal articles, and the Extramural Journal Article Request form now ask you to enter your MyLibrary login. This allows the forms to be secure, and streamlines the process of filling them in.
