Library Satisfaction - What You Think
The survey results are in - you told us that Library staff and services are great, but the facilities and equipment could do with improvements...
Thank you to the 2333 Massey University students and staff who completed the recent Library Client Satisfaction survey.
How does Massey compare to other university libraries?
Compared to 40 Australasian university libraries who have recently undertaken this survey, Massey University Library scored in the top 25%.
Table Dancing
There are unconfirmed reports of students dancing on tables during the closing tune at Turitea Library. There is currently no written Library policy on this. However, if table dancing students are seen to also be talking in quiet study areas or eating hot, smelly food, they may be politely asked to refrain, or to continue outside.
Early English Books Online
by Bruce White, College Liaison
Early English Books Online, affectionately known as EEBO, is one of the most amazing products of the digital age. Ranging from the earliest printed book in English in 1473 to the year 1700, it consists of over 125,000 titles including obscure tracts and classic works of literature, philospohy and science. Dr Sarah Ross of the School of English and Media Studies researches English politics, religion and literature in the period 1500-1700 and is a keen user of Early English Books Online. I asked her about the importance of EEBO in her work.
