Century of Social Sciences

by Massey University Library Email

The Library has purchased the Social Science Citation Index archive. This expands social sciences coverage in Web of Science back to 1898.
Social sciences changed dramatically during the first half of the 20th Century, and the published research during this period of time is reflective of these great changes. The ability to search this information in one place enables Library patrons to track social science research trends through time, and trace the impact of early research on today’s findings.
Century of Social Sciences indexes over 300 social sciences journals back to 1898, in disciplines such as communication, education, geography, history & philosophy of the social sciences, law, political science, public health, and social issues & sociology. It is fully integrated with Web of Science.
